Landfill Gas & Gas Engines

Even controlled landfills emit methane, a flammable gas which is also a potent greenhouse gas. This can be collected and used to fuel a gas engine or gas turbine. Typical capacities are 0.5 to 10 MW of electrical output - displacing that amount of generation from less environmentally-friendly sources.
